Timothy Smith-Lyric Baritone

Tim has been involved in music as both an instrumentalist and singer his entire life.  He joined the Chamber Singers after hearing his daughter, Emily, make such beautiful music with the group.  He felt he wanted to be a part of it and loves the interaction with the chamber choir and their audiences.  “I just love making music together with these great singers!"

 

When not singing, Tim enjoys working with his son—who is a winemaker by profession—on grape harvests and wine pouring/tasting for a few wineries.  Sports and travel are among Tim’s pastimes as well.  Tim recently retired after 44 years in the railroad industry as a Locomotive Engineer and Union Representative.
